Over the years, we have benefited from the generosity of many members who have made the FNL a beneficiary of their Will.  Countless institutions have been able to add to their collections and make the acquisitions available to a wide public thanks to these legacies, they are truly lasting gifts.

You should always consult a solicitor to make sure your Will truly reflects your wishes and is legally valid.

You can, if you wish, state how you would like Friends of the National Libraries to use your legacy (e.g. to support the acquisition of literary archives, or to support smaller libraries), but an unrestricted gift enables us to use apply legacy where it is most needed.
